Terms and conditions​

These general terms and conditions apply when you as a consumer ("the customer" or "you") make a purchase from VIKING BADSTUE at www.vikingbadstu.no. The terms are applicable to visits and reservations in all VIKING BADSTUE's sauna boats, the website vikingbadstue.no, as well as contact with customer support or via social media. These terms supersede any information that may have been incorrectly represented elsewhere on the website or sent out in emails.

1. Consumer Purchases

Consumer purchases are regulated by the Consumer Purchase Act, the Right of Withdrawal Act, the Marketing Act, the Personal Data Act, the E-commerce Act, and the Credit Purchase Act. For more information about your rights and obligations when purchasing, you can search for these laws on lovdata.no.

By using the website and/or placing an order, you agree to abide by the provisions set forth in these terms. Please ensure that you have read and understood the terms before placing your order. The availability of products or services on the website at a certain time does not guarantee that all products or services will always be available. We reserve the right to discontinue the sale of a product at any time and reserve the right that products may not always be available. VIKING BADSTUE reserves the right to change these terms without prior notice. The version of the terms that applies to your order is the one available on the website at the time of ordering.

2. Prices

When ordering through the website, the prices indicated apply. All prices are in Norwegian kroner (NOK) and include VAT. If the VAT rate changes after the order has been made, this change will be reflected in the price of the goods, without you being informed about it. The prices indicated at the time of the customer's order apply throughout the purchasing process. No additional taxes or fees apply. In case of obvious errors in pricing due to technical or human error, VIKING BADSTUE reserves the right to cancel an order and refund the customer.

3. Payment

You can choose from the following secure payment methods:

• Stripe: credit card or debit card payment. The amount will be charged to the card on the same day the order is placed.

• VIPPS on the website.

• VIPPS for drop-in.

• Cash is not accepted.

VIKING BADSTUE never has access to card information and therefore cannot register or store card details.

 

4. Purchase Terms and Customer Information

To complete a purchase through the website, you must accept the terms. By accepting the terms, you commit to follow them and confirm that you have read the information about VIKING BADSTUE's processing of personal data below and consented to the use of cookies.

An agreement for purchase, which these terms regulate, is concluded only when VIKING BADSTUE has confirmed the order in writing to your provided email address ("order confirmation"). You are encouraged to keep the order confirmation for any future inquiries to VIKING BADSTUE. The agreement in connection with an order covers only payment for the relevant reservation, and once the booking and visit have been completed, the customer has no further payment obligations to VIKING BADSTUE. However, the terms still apply between the parties for the purchased services/goods.

The customer confirms that the information filled out is accurate and complete. The customer is responsible for incorrectly filled information. Information about VIKING BADSTUE's processing of personal data is provided below and is part of these terms.

5. Cancellation and Change of Booking

The right of withdrawal for services does not apply to individual services that take place at a specific time or within a certain period, cf. the Right of Withdrawal Act § 19. Thus, a booking at VIKING BADSTUE follows the same principle as if you were purchasing a cinema, concert, or airline ticket. Reservations can be transferred to another name at no cost.

Your booking can only be canceled or changed if you have purchased cancellation insurance.

6. Gift Cards and Right of Withdrawal

When purchasing a gift card on the website, the customer always has a 14-day right of withdrawal in accordance with the Right of Withdrawal Act. We will refund the relevant amount using the same payment method that was used for the order, as far as this is possible. VIKING BADSTUE automatically sends out an order confirmation immediately after a reservation is made.

The gift card is valid for one (1) year from the date of purchase and cannot be extended. The actual booking and sauna visit must also take place within the validity period of the card. Only one gift card can be used per booking, and it is not possible to use multiple gift cards simultaneously. Gift cards can only be used for bookings of private saunas, sauna boats, and single tickets.

7. Cancellation and Weather Reservations

If VIKING BADSTUE, for any reason, cannot carry out the reservation due to wind, weather, or other external factors, the sauna boat will be converted into a private sauna, and the customer will be refunded the difference.

VIKING BADSTUE cannot guarantee water quality or weather conditions. In cases of extreme weather and other force majeure situations, such as pandemics, wars, uprisings, blockades, natural disasters, strikes and lockouts, import restrictions, hyperinflation, robbery, burglary, alien invasions, and monkeypox, the customer will not be refunded for the service that cannot be carried out.

8. Age Limit

VIKING BADSTUE does not process purchases and reservations for individuals under 18 years old. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a guardian.
